Im looking for guidance/advice on replacing the pinion seal in a 41 Ser. 62.  A mechanic friend told me that its "a piece of cake" but Im not so sure.  Is there a cruse sleeve in this rear end?  And is there a modern seal that replaces the original, which was leather?

Bob,

I have written up a procedure for replaceing the seal.  Email me at bradipsen@cs.com for a copy.
