Is there any info on what radial tires would fit the 700-16 that are on my 1940 model 5019, also any reccommended suppliers?

I got mine from Diamond Back Classics. Whitewalls vulcanized on Dayton light truck LT 215/85R16. Theyre very close in diameter and width to 7.00-16. Had them for about 5 years and am very pleased. Theyre on original rims with no tubes.

I agree. Diamondback furnished radials for my 39.  They drive great, are easier to steer at lower speeds, dont hunt for smooth pavement, and will last the life of your car.  Plus, the company stands behind their product.  I know that from personal experience!
