1441554 is the right skirt for a 1941 60 Special Sedan

Perhaps to expand. There were two design skirts in 41. As already mentioned, there was the 60 Special skirt that was part of the rear fender, and unique to that car, that year.

The remainder of the 41 series cars had skirts,of a different design from the 60S,  and  they were optional equipment on some cars. The same sheet metal skirt was carried on the 75 series Cadillacs, with a stainless steel molding on the lower edge from 46-49. That skirt was supplied by Cadillac with the holes for the molding punched in it.

The Cadillac parts book called them: Wheel opening shield.
