Hello fellow Cadillac people!
I have managed to locate the faulty door lock actuator, I even managed to loosen it but the cable contact seems stuck (any hint on  how to loosen that?).

But the main question is, are these actuators still available as a spare part? I tried looking for them at http://www.acdelco.com TARGET=_blank>www.acdelco.com without any luck...

I need two of em also, the drivers side is broken and the passenger side was missing all together.

So, any hints on how to disconnect the cable and can these be bought from somewhere/someone - preferably original GM parts :-)

Thanks!
/Rikard

PS There is an image of it hanging up-side-down here:

Try USA. Parts, I dont see one of their catalogs under the desk for the exact name.

Try ebay ... I know those come up all the time.

Remove the screws that hold it to the door, then you have to twist the rod around to get it out of the actuator.  Also, you need to disconnect the electrical wire.  They are easy to find used from the various Cadillac vendors.  You do have to remove the door panel to remove it.
