Does anyone know how to get the small round, red glass reflector out of the bottom of the tail light assembly,  I put it in a vice with wood on either side and slowly pressed on it, but stopped short of breaking something.  thanks for any help.

MATT,  you have to have the tail-light housing off of the car in order to remove the CATS EYE. ( red refector ). Most likely it will have a lot of dirt in the cavity where the red refector is held in place by a spring and ring, Useing long-nose plires, push in on the ring and turn Counter-Clock-Wise while holding the red refector, After turning the ring about a quarter-turn, release it. once you get it apart and cleaned-up, You will understand how it is held in place.
Good Luck, Jim

I am going to need to find a replacement, are they as hard to find as the tail light lenses?  How did you turn it into a turn signal?,  use a different lens?  sounds interesting, fill me in.

MATT, I got a couples of "single-bulb-contact-bulb sockets and cut out the back of the CATS EYES. Makes real good turn-signales. will have to draw a picture for you.
Good Luck, Jim
