hi everyone.lost site.i own 38 lasalle 5w/cpe v8 opera.were do i get interier work done.not hampton.is it worth staying org.what would you change,color.i saw one with carnival red.i also have a 76 eldorodo conv.its yellow with black inter.need to change color any ideas on a good color.i would stay with hte black inter.need a good place for inter.  thanks a bunch  george

If you do NOT stay original, expect to lose 99percent of your investment in reupholstering if you ever sell the car. Your taste and the next owners will almost never match. Ditto with the 76. Unless you pay a bundle to to get rid of ALL of the yellow on the firewall, door jambs, etc, youd be better off keeping the yellow. I had a 76 Fleetwood in your combination. It was a stunning car. Black top, black dElegance velour interior and the "whatever they called it" Ivory body. (Im too lazy to run upstairs and check the color chart...)

oh yea ,i ment to ask you about the milage on the 76.it only has 5 didgets.i bought the car with 66,000,but how do i know if it went around again?someone told me it did if the numbers are not lined up,they all line up.the car came from sc and the sun wasent to kind to it. thanks for your help  george
