Greetings from Germany,

I have a RHD 1924 V63  open tourer.
The spark plugs which ar in the engine now are Champion W-16Y.
Are these the correct plugs or can they cause any problems. In the moment the engine runs great.
I don´t know whether it is the origiall engine because the dash plate is missing an on the crank case on the right side there is only a cast 6 digit number. It does not fit in the listings I found in the internet.

Any help is preciated

Gunbter

BTW
If anybody has photos of a V63 car or engine I would be glad if I could have them by email to compare is to my car.

Gunbter,

My old Champion book shows that the plugs, up to 1928 were:           Old Number C-4; todays number C-16C or W16Y. The AC plug number is 78S.

I have no way to verify the difference between the W16Y and the C-16C, but the original was the C-16C so I would use those.

Good Luck
