I need to replace my top on 38-7533 Convertible which is now located in Maryland outside of Baltimore.

Does anyone know what color top and shade was correct for
Code 7-X-6  (7=Manchu Beige Iridescent)(X= non standard interior,Series 90 Tan Leather#771 as indicated on Special Body Order #2887) (6- Dual Sidemounts)  ** all from the records from the Research Center)

So now I need to know what color top I need, and if I use nylon thread for top instead of cotton, if that will affect the judging?

Also how do I match the Manchu Beige when I repaint it?  What is the correct wheel colors?

Tom, According to the Master Chassis Body Parts List the corresponding wheel color for Manchu Beige would be Laquedoc Orange. I think the standard black was also common. The colors and code are listed for 38, which probably means your car was an early special order. My 37 was ordered in Nov 36 and has a 36 color and code. The top was more than likely tan. As an aside, the model # for a 75 series convertable sedan is 7529. Good Luck.

Too early this morning meant to put 38-7529 put the sedan instead.

Any thoughts on correct pattern?

Thanks,
