Ray:  I think youll find a 42 has round parking/directionals at the top ends of the grille, almost on a level with the headlights, closer weave pattern in the grille itself  and large rectangular "town lamps" under the headlights.  The nose ornament is a set of wings in a vertical pattern.  Hope this helps, Nor Ellis
