HI everyone, I Purchased a 1915 Cadillac Model 51 7 passenger in 1998. The car came from the Robert Paul Greenlease estate in 1964. There is a rumor that has been floating around Kansas City for some time that this car came from the Amelia Earhardt family. I have copies of titles that date back to 1964, but have hit a dead end with any KS, MO title searches before 1964.

I was wondering if any older car buffs might have any knowledge of this car or the Amelia Earhardt family rumor. The car is in original condition, with the exception of new tires, new upholstering (1965) and new tires. Any help would be great.

Thanks in advance

I found a picture of Ms. Earhardt in front of what appears to be a Cord.

I found it on her official website.

You can also send a question to the website, they might be able to help you. Heres the link.
