I just obtained a 1939 Cadillac that was about 60percent through a restoration process when the shop burned down and it was pushed into a field where it has sat for the past 13 years. it is very complete but will need a complete tear-down. I am still uncertain of what I have but here are the numbers:

39 6019s
body: 2208
trim: 44
paint: 58

Where can i refernce these numbers so I can see what I really have and where can I go to get solid info/parts. Help!

Your car is a regular 39 60 Special. I hope that youll be able to get it back in order; its a long haul from here. The color is shown as Oxblood Maroon. If you check the current isue of the Self-Starter, the cover car is done in a similar maroon.

Itll be a terrific car when youre done, so go give it Hell!
