Fred- sounds like the 59 has the same sort of seal and retainer combo as Cad rears back to 1938- thus the price. If so, the aftermarket (National etc) seals are easy to come by-but removing the retainer to replace the seal -without damaging it -aint too easy. Drilling holes, using a body mans dent puller and then brazing the holes is what I did on my 40.
