did I get the right plugs for 71 472?

Did my parts man give me the correct plugs for a 71 472?  I got R44XLS AC Delco. Also, is there a preferred gap for a stock application?

Those are right and I think the factory spec is .045.

Gap is to be set at .035.

You are right ... I gave the later HEI spec.  Thats what I get for not looking it up.
