I am wondering if there is any way to find out more about my 77 coupe deville. I know that carfax-type reports only go back to 1980 or so when the 17 digit VINs started being used, but i thought maybe there were so other ways to find out some more about the car..(dealership, owners out of state, etc.) I did a title search on the ohio bmv website but it only shows titles for the car from 1999-up. I would also like to know how to decode the data plate. Just thought it would be interesting. Thanks for the help!
