Hello. Recently purchased a 1936 Fleetwood sedan. (70 series) Sent to GM Heritage Center for a build sheet on the car. The people there do a great service for all of us Cadillac owners. My question is on the build sheet the number 311495 appears as the engine number, which is also the vin # on the title. There is also 3A5209(stamped on left rear of block) number which Cadillac called the engine unit number? This number and the chassis numbers(on frame-3A4956) match the build sheet.But I cant find the 3114956 number (title) on the motor,frame or firewall data tag. Need to verify this number to get a clear title in Ohio. (car came from Ariz.) Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
