i have a 92 brougham with 105000 mi one of the rear load levelers is leaking can i install heavy duty shocks as the replacement of the levelers is quite expensive

Yes you can, but you will also have to replace the rear springs from a non ELC equipped car. The springs are strong enough to hold up the back of the car when empty, but will sag when any load is placed in the car.

There are other options. You can use aftermarket air shocks which cost less and still usually carry a lifetime warranty. Youll just have to adapt the fittings.
