Can someone tell me which Trippe lights are correct for 1939, Roundbacks or tear drop? I have spoken with a Trippe restorer who told me that the roundbacks are correct for 1935 and up but in the 1939 Motor Magazine there is a Trippe Light Ad showing tear drops. Also, does anyone know what years Trippe used the serial no. on the tags? Any insight on this would be greatly appreciated.
