Joe -   Re your fuel tank sending unit restoration...get in touch with John Wolf, in Willoughby OH - 888-309-0453. <antiqueinstrument.com>.  They have a flat rate for any sending unit, regardless of what it needs, and they do fine work.  Last one I had done was $95 (incl. S/H) a few years ago.  Dont know what it is now.

Howdy!

What are yalls thoughts about getting the sending unit rebuilt?  Cost seems to be abot $100.00 to do it, but an aftermarket universal 6v unit seems to run about 1/2 that.  Why should I rebuild?

Thoughts?

thanks!

Joe
