GM pulls plug on Cadillac dealership

Although I am not familiar with this Connecticut dealership, I found the following article interesting:
http://www.zwire.com/site/news.cfm?newsid=17786518&BRD=1641&PAG=461&dept
It describes a Cadillac-Chevrolet dealership no longer selling those brands, apparently due to a decision by G.M. The article states that they were long-established and past recipients of awards. It seems as though the General Motors goal is to strive for quality, not quantity, in dealerships. I hope things work out for the best for Cadillac & G.M.!

Sounds like they shot themselves in the foot by not securing a viable future location, but then again, I never believe anything I read in the papers(or on the internut)!
