Hi All,

Can I please get advice as to where I can get both pieces of door glass for my 1961 Cadillac convertible.
I was told that the coupe is the same glass.

Thanks
Jack

The side glass on a 1961 is flat glass and can be cut by most auto glass dealers.  Check with a dealer in the town you live in and save the postage. They can likely use your old glass as a pattern. If you are into restoring for prizes, and need the date etc. etched into the glass check in Hemmings. Warren

THe company that was the suplier for templates of replacement glass was National Automotive Glass Specifications, formerly in Detroit. I bought a few templates from thjem years ago, but they were sold to another company and re-located to San Diego. Look up this page, and get some background. Its interesting.

Try these folks, I used them for a rear door glass on my 56 Fleetwood. It was perfect in size and tint. Fast friendly service also.
