You wonder how many great old cars have been lost in the name of producing forgetable garbage movies.  When you see old cars in period movies, I would assume they generally come from members of car clubs.  Do the owners do the driving?  I would never trust the studio with a car that I loved.  How do you know there isnt a crash scene they "forget" to mention?  Then, they just hand you a take-it-or-sue-us insurance check and bid you adieu.  No way!
