does anyone know if a 1938 lasalle grille will fit a 1939 lasalle?

Not a chance. The 38 grille is probably about 25percent wider than the 39 is.

thanks for the info.i need a 39 lasalle grille and saw what looks like a 38 on ebay but it is listed as a 39...was curious if it would work or not..jw
