Finally, my 61 is to be painted. Her body plate tells me she came off the line with Fontana Rose, but now she’s Pompeian Red!
What’s our best resource for the GM colors and proper mix? Many thanks, Pete

Just to be perfectly clear, your local paint shop will be able to mix up a batch as long as you're able to provide them with the proper PPG or Ditzler paint code. Granted, they could make a match by a color analysis but the paint codes are your best bet.

The PPG (Ditzler ) codes for 1961 are DDL 71202 Fontana Rose Poly And DDL-50568 Pompeian Red Poly.
