Can some one urgently confirm the firing order of a 1928 Cadillac 341-A engine.

Also need confirmation of the numbering of the cylinders for each block/bank.

Thanks and Regards
Ken

Most V8s of that style have basically the same firing order.  The numbering system used in the manuals is confusing to me, so I use the GM numbering that I am used to.  Using that system in which the left bank are odd numbers and the Right bank are even  13579 and 2468 respectfully.  The firing order would be 18736542.  It is the same as most GM V8 cars except #4 and 7 are switched.

Dear Wayne and Bruce,

Many thanks for your input.
Bruce, you should have kept quite. I could have done with the extra piston.cylinder, and the extra power.

Oh but you are a littl devil (Tasmanian ) at that.
