I just checked out Rock Auto part numbers for a steering gear box.
Nothing pryor to 1963 Cadillac is listed. >:(
From1963 till 1965 they list only A1 Cardone part#276502.
From 65 onward they list A1 Cardone part#276502 and Delco 88991220.as an alternative.
Since the same part numbers appear to be interchangable on later models, ie Delco or A1Cardone, is it not sensible to think the Delco unit will fit earlier years also?
Which brings me to my point, Does anyone know if these later steering gears will fit a 1959 DeVille also? :o
The same part#s also go on to the 76 Eldorado I never checked any further.

I checked a 1969 Hollander. They say 1959-65 all ,1966 series 75& COMM are the same. Newer (to 69) are not ; eldo and the rest are each separate groups(67-69).The problem with Cadillac listings before 1967 is they only sold parts to repair, no whole units..Warren

Thanks for the info.
I just had a reply from Joe Csaszar from Classic Cadillac in Canada. He verifies what you say.
Rock Auto must have got it wrong.
Thanks again.
