I am in need of a complete back seat for my 1965 Eldo Convertible.
I have called may places and most have tried to sell me other years
saying they are all the same for similiar years groups.

Does anyone know which years, if any, are interchangable with the '65 convertible?

I would really appreciate this information.

The following is from a 1968 Cadillac parts book. Group 11.610 Custion# 451 1466 fits 65 Eldo only. Group 11.628 Back rest# 451 1608 fits 1965 Eldo only. Hopefully someone knows what can be made to work.(possibly all 65-66 conv.?)  Warren

Can't think of any reason why a DeVille convertible seat won't fit. We had a regional member here with an Eldorado interior in his '65 Deville. You'll just need to reupholster it to match the Eldo patterns.

Only a Ventriloquist could do that.

PS.   Sorry Glenn, couldn't resist.

PPS.   Got to be a Convertible Seat as the Coupe one would be screaming its' head off as its' sides were squashed in, if it could talk that is.

I would think the back seat from any 1965 or 1966 Convertible would fit fine. Are you just looking for a part to re-upholster?

Yes - I am just looking for a part to re-upholster.

Thanks to everyone for the input.
