NOS Tungsol 6 Volt Auto Bulbs, Can You Identify??

I found a box of Tungsol 6 volt #1321 auto bulbs, 32 candle power. The box shows mid 30s type autos. Are these headlamp bulbs, and does anyone know exactly which Caddys these are correct for? Thanks for any assistance.

John,according to an old Mazda lamp list I have,they are for "Spot,Driving and Fog".No idea on what Cadillac though.

They are bayonet type. When did Caddy come out with a big 6 volt bulb instead of these small bayonets?

Hi John: Your picture shows what is called a prefocused bulb since it has the large base flange. If it did not have the large base flange it would be called a bayonte type bulb. I can`t tell by the picture if it is a single or double contact bulb. If you can believe my Master Parts book for Cadillac it does not show a 1321 bulb used in any Cadillac from 1934 through 59. Head lamp bulb numbers used were # 1000 which was a double contact 32 CP bayonte, then 2320, double contact 32-21 CP prefocused, 2330 a double contact 32-32 CP prefocused and then a 2530 prefocused double contact 50-32 CP. Starting in 40 the sealed beam bulb replaced the prefocused bulbs for the head lamps. Prefocused 6 volt bulbs were still used but as fog and or turn signal bulbs. #1209 was a 32 CP shielded prefocused single contact bulb used in the fog lamps for 41, 42, and I think 46 Cadillacs. A double contact prefocused bulb # 1022 was used on 47-53 Cads for fog/ directional bulbs and the same type bulb only 12 volt # 1044 or 1026 was used until the late 50`s or early 60`s as fog/turn signal. Your 1321 bulb could very well be a head lamp bulb for some make car but If I were to guess I would say it was probably a bulb used in a fog lamp or spot light. The most common spot lamp bulb used in the 40s was a 1503 which was a 32 CP single contact prefocused.

John. I have 4 Nos GE 2320 refocused auto headlamp bulbs.  These are similar to my oem 49 fog lamp bulbs.

Please post a clear picture of the base without any shaving cream.... LOL ?
