I saw this announcement on the Blogs page of the Detroit News.  It was posted by Larry Edsall, managing editor of AutoWeek:

Casting call: Movie needs 1970s cars and owners
If you have a 1970s era automobile and don`t mind being in the Boston area between Nov. 12 and Jan. 23, you and your car could be in a movie.

The Box, starring Cameron Diaz and Frank Langella, will be shot in Boston and is set in the '70s, so the producers are looking for a bunch of 1970s or older cars and their owners to use as "general background extras.`"

By the way, those selected will be paid.

If you're interested, you need to send one - and only one - photo of your vehicle, plus the car's year, make and model information, your name and telephone number either by e-mail to Marisa@cpcasting.com or by regular mail to C.P. Casting Inc., 537 Tremont St., Boston MA 02116, and be sure to mark the envelope ATTN: 1970s CAR.
