I recently purchased a set of sidemount locks - one of which has the lockset with "BASCO" in a diamond (the other is missing the lockset) - does anyone know whether parts are available, where to get this serviced, etc. ?

I would contact Jesser's Classic Keys in Ohio.  He is a frequent advertiser in The Self-Starter.

are you referring to the spare tires on the sides?  Where can I pick up dual side mounts for a '39 LaSalle!?  (sorry, didnt mean to hijack your thread).
