Hey all you New Yorkers - wondering if in 1941 New York required two license plates.... one in front and one in rear.  My '41 lived it's life in NYC and just wondered what the original set up might have been.  To other CLC'rs.... If Cadillac shipped a car to a state requiring only one license plate, was the car shipped with or without the front license plate bracket???

Thanks

Whit, Don't know what the policy was in 1941, but, today, some if not all dealers are supplied with front license brackets.
Good Luck,JIM
