Does anyone know for certain whether or not the exterior rear window moldings from a '70 Eldorado will interchange with a '68 Eldorado (both cars have a vinyl roof)?  Also, on '70 Eldos without a vinyl roof, were the moldings painted or were they stainless?

Thanks in advance for any help you can give me regarding these questions!

According to the 1974 Master Parts Book the reveal molding is the same for all ’67 â€"’70 Eldorados.  There is a difference between cars with vinyl roof and without vinyl roof.  There is no listing for stainless.

Vinyl top cars had a textured molding to match the grain of the top.
Non vinyl top cars had a smooth molding painted body color.

Thanks for the info guys!  I really appreciate it.  At least now I can expand my search to all four years ('67-'70) of Eldorados with vinyl tops.  I feel sure someone out there has a set at a reasonable price.  There were quite a few Eldorados built during those years so the odds are good I'll find a nice, rust free set.
