In short, I see Pontiac being able to play the role of a legitimate alternative to Chevy for some buyers who prefer a sportier car on performance/appearance. This is an area where GM can appeal to a younger buyer, because Buick certainly doesn't have any entry-level models.

At least here in SoCal, the majority of the dealers are organized as GMC/Buick/Pontiac - I have no idea about other parts of the country.
