When I drive over any kind up bump in the road, or down a road that has dips along the way, anything that causes the rear of car to bounce up, the rear end comes down with a very hard slam, the higher the speed, the harder the slam down. Will appreciate any help with this problem.  Thanks

You might investigate the rear shocks? They are air adjustable and the bellows fail with age, followed with hydraulic failure.

Rear shocks are probably locked up. Had a 2002 with the same issue.

They are air shocks, and an air pump allow s them to be self-leveling. Over time moisture in the air accumulates in the shock. Water doesn't compress well. That's my guess.
