Hello,

Ok, I have to admit stupid here. I had a line come loose where it comes thru the firewall- the cluster of lines right behind the oil pressure sensor.
Anyway, I was leaning over the fender sticking the line back on and I slipped. You guessed it, my hand hit the bundle of vac lines and pulled them out--- Ok, go ahead and laugh.
It looks like there may be some writing on the plate but I can't read it.
Does anybody have the routing of which port is which (red, brown, yellow, etc?
Also since I'm on here, what size are those lines? I might as well replace them. I'd like to get them small enough to really hold, but big enough to allow enough vacuum.
Thanks

Jeff, Caddy Daddy has this vacuum hose kit that is color coded.  It is somewhat of a universal kit as I used it on my 1959 and had a couple of colors left over, and there was plenty of length for each one I used.

Sorry, I can't help with the routing of the hoses, but there should be a vacuum hose diagram in the shop manual—it is probably in the heating/air conditioning section, since that is what uses the small vacuum hoses.

If it is the vacuum lines going to the AC power servo, here is a link to a restored one on ebay that clearly shows the writing.

Thanks. That part I can see. It's where those hoses go that I can't see. Appreciate it tho.

Got it.

I tried to take a peek and look this morning, but couldn't quite make out all of the lines.

By the end of the week, I'll get under the hood and note where they mount onto the bracket on the firewall.

Wow, that would be fantastic..... That sure was a boneheaded thing I did.
Someone on here posted about a topside creaper. If this isn't a reason to get one, I don't know what is.
Thank you

Jeff,
Starting at the beginning, exactly how many lines have been disconnected and what colors are they? Are any of the lines going to the cruise control (if you have it) transducer?

No cruise. It's the bundle of vac lines on the firewall just behind the oil sender I think they are all climate control. As far as I know, everything inside is intact..... But I didn't think about that.

I just jumped on to see if this was resolved before diving under the hood. Glad to see it resolved and thank you for the picture of the layout.

Thanks.
Still not quite because I don't have dash vents- and I did before. But working on it. Sadly it appears I also broke the vacuum check valve so I am working around that.
Typical me-- A small simple project that turned into a mess.

I hate to tell you this but if it's the plastic check valve
that attaches to the firewall with (if I'm remembering right)
5 vacuum ports you're in trouble.  They are almost impossible
to find in working order.  I dug one up for a friend a few months ago.  Found it on E-Bay.  The plastic becomes very
brittle with age.

I have an extra vacuum port switch for a 69 which will work for a 70. Let me know if you are interested.
