1938 Sixty Special Steering Box

What kind of grease do I need in the steering box.  And, how do I get this brown stuff out?

Lares Corp will rebuild it.  Mine is now at its limits so it needs to be renewed.

Loosen the three screws/bolts on the end plate as illustrated. After loosening, use a heat gun to heat up the housing. It should liquify the grease enough that it will allow it to drip out the bottom. Refill with a product called Penrite Steering Box Lube available from https://restorationstuff.com/
