Pre 1941 Ventilating Defrosting Heater

Please see attached photos. The cover for this heater has been sanded and repainted. The heater core has also been serviced.

The heater has the original motor with original wiring. The motor works in both directions on high speed when I tested with a 6 volt car battery. I did not test this with the original switch.

The original motor is probably good because the resistors to make the motor run at multiple speeds are in the original switch. In other words you need to connect the motor to the correct switch to get multiple speeds out of it.

I agree. I could provide videos I took of the fan operating in both directions if anyone is interested. The site did not allow me to post them.
