Hey and happy new year!

Can someone post a picture where I can see how thos heater hose marked in red is installed correctly?
Have searched but I can't find pictures. Have only the one from the shop manual.
Are there bareckya that hold the hose into position under the engine ?
Thank you20230101_193332.jpg

It must be not much different than 1956: the hose, from the "Y" goes down at the rear and bottom of the cross member. There is a clip in the cross member's middle to hold the tube. Then it goes into the frame and emerges from the frame somewhere further back and goes to the core.
Unfortunately, I have no picture.
I hope that somebody will have a more detailled explanation.

I removed ours years ago when we woke our car up. I remember there were clips under the crossmember that holds the hose in place.

As Roger stated above the '54 routing could be similar to the '56, the hose routes under the front cross member (back facing the front hump of the oil pan) then it goes inside the right side frame and exist just around the starter/bell housing area.

I do not have a picture, but you can take a look and could probably see the holes on the inside of the frame front and rear to route the hose inside the frame, should be close to 2ft give or take distance.

Good luck..!

I think I have found the holes in the frame. Putting the hose through the frame was not so easy.... when I understand all the hose runs the same way like the brake line that follows the crossmember?
So the next question. Where comes the hose up on the driver's side? There is not much space... maybe someone can help me here also? Thank you

Nick,
As soon as I will find some time (this weekend?) I will make some pictures that might help you out. From the top of my head, the hose actually runs at the rear of the engine.
My '54 has some extra hoses because of the LPG system that is installed, but that should not be a big problem.

Yes, sorry. I have been out of town for a week and pretty busy with work. So that is why I have not gone to my garage. I will try to do it this weekend.

It seems you did not get pictures from the LH hose. The pictures are from my '56 car, it must be not so different for 1954. The first picture is more or less at the water pump outlet; there is then a progression till the last picture.
