When I bought my '61 coupe 3 years ago I converted to an aftermarket dual master kit, overhauled all the cylinders and installed new shoes. Still, the braking has never been great. With traffic, steep hills, and distracted drivers I definitely need more whoa. Looked into several kits (Caddy Daddy, OPG, Perf. Online) and am wondering if anyone has had experience with these (or?). Fitting the calipers into the factory '61-'62 deep dish wheels is also a question (the manufactures don't mention different fitment for these years). I've been weighing using a later model factory dual master/disc brake setup, but it means gathering a pile of parts piece by piece. Any tips from the Caddy faithful?

There are several kits that fit front stock wheels for disc brakes. Now stock rears is another issue. I had to use 3/4 inch hub spacers to make stock rear fit over the disc brakes. And that closed up to much gap to the fender skirts so I am switching rears back to drums.
