I think that you are going to experience many people walking past you while looking for you until they find out that you had the car painted the color it is. That is such a difference from what it was. Glad to see you have it back to original and looking like a classy Cadillac again.
I am loving how 'The Ark' is coming along so far. I love the color.I miss my folks too. My dad was not a Cadillac man, but I think he'd like my 64, and the preservation work I've been doing to keep it going. It looks good, especially for a 58 year old unrestored car. (I'm glad one of the previous owners had the front seat redone with correct materials and pattern, so that really helps out a lot. Yeah, I had to use Eastwood replica finishes on the hardware, and some parts, instead of plating them, but cash and time come into play. The car gets to keep original hardware while holding back further corrosion. Like you, I sure do wish I could take my parents for a drive in it. Oh well, I'll carry them along in my heart, as I do every day since their passings.
