Ok, here is a question for someone with a parts book. Are the fender skirts the same on all 46/47 models and same Rt. or Lt. hand?
                                                                                                                   Thank you all, Tim

According to my 1935-55 Master Parts List, the fender skirts differ from right to left in all models.

However, Series 61 skirts are different from Series 62 and 60S skirts which are the same.

Series 75 skirts are different from all the above.

BTW: Cadillac calls them "Wheel Opening Shields".

Hello
- the difference between the left and right skirt is the position of the brackets, since they are not symmetrical, they are off-centre,
However, you can change it by welding it to the other position, and adjust the support rail with the hooks if you have two from the same side, the thin metal shield itself is already prepared for this
- The difference between 61 and 62 is the height, 62 is half an inch higher so you can make a 61 out of a 62 skirt by cutting out half an inch and welding together
- 75 has the round larger skirts, the shape that the 61/62 model had in 1941

hope it helps!
