I was never a big fan of fuel additives . However is there some product out there that is worth while using ? Keep in mind the 70 Cadillac has Zero pollution control  and a 10 to 1 compression engine . Always use Sunoco 93

If you like throwing money away, buy any of the thousands of snake oil products that you like. StaBil for long term storage is the only thing that you need to put in the car.

Oh no, not this again...
FRESH gas, 93 is great, no additives.
Some will mix in race fuel, 105 octane fully leaded, that won't hurt
the car, and its usually completely unnecessary. I don't even use Sta-Bil
over the winter, just store the car very low on fuel then a full fresh tank
when its time to drive again. The car 'might' run like crap until that old
gas is burned, then its fine when its all fresh fuel.

Hey Laurie, just a thought on on over winter storage. It's best to have the tank full to guard against condensation forming on the tanks interior to help ward off the rust demons. A little top oil or marvel added to the gas wouldn't hurt during storage either.

My tank is brand new. I tried that dash of Marvel once with the old tank, it was MONTHS before the car ran normally again, we had to change the fuel filter, clean the screen at the carb, etc, it was a nightmare. That oil will break loose any rust or other debris in the system you didn't know you had. Until you try to drive the car again. That was my experience.

Just ONE DATA point--- I found that during very hot weather, Marvel Mystery at around a pint for every fill up made a substantial difference when starting a hot, carbureted  Cadillac engine.  You know exactly what I mean about a hot and hard starting big block...and I suggest if you're experiencing this anxiety, try some Marvel Oil in the tank... Marvel is always good as is a lead substitute additive to lubricate the valves.

There is one product that will work. 100%.
VP Racing Fuel has cans of Octanium.
They work because they have real T-lead.
Marvels is great, but yes, a rusty tank should be fixed first.
