Good evening gentlemen,

Does anybody here have a radio restoration service they can recommend?

I took a chance on an eBay radio but I'm not thrilled with it and am looking to get my original fixed. Also, any replacement/upgrade speaker recommendations?

Thanks again

There is a Chrome vintage Radio looking modern version. Has Powerful yet wonderful sound with blue tooth,  handsfree USB with all modern features, no CD OR TAPE. I have installed from 1957-1976 models and quite pleased. They are $400. And YES I would up grade all the original speakers, but the Original OHM speakers will only work with OEM deck

If you would like to have work done on your original radio. Call Tayman Electrical 941-371-8924. They worked on my 1940 LaSalle radio and it sounds great.

I have heard very good things about this company's products (https://www.tech-retro.com/aurora-design/home.html).  The radios are converted to all new internals (e.g. AM, FM, HD FM, Bluetooth, satellite, etc.) but use all original externals (so look exactly the same).  Conversions are done by a network of dealer across the country.  Quite a few videos on YouTube one can watch.  I am going to have one of my old radios converted shortly.

Try Phillips Radio and T.V. in Canton Ohio. 330-454-5185. Did a good job on my 1960 radio and reasonable price too.

I did not need his services but have heard good things about what he offers:

Since this is a transistor radio, I would give them a call first but I think this is in the range they can handle.
