Any more info or pics available? Such a rare find, but looks like a real big project. Love it.  ;D

I would purchase it for $1500.  $6K is too much for projects.  A local 49 CdV sold for $1700 last year.

I will pass it along, I think your offer is a bit light but ya never know.

In the interest of my friend, what is a fair price to the collective, who know and deal with these cars?
Thank you

I understand.   For me, I am in Iowa and transport will be $2500 +.   I can’t get that back. I would be buying sight unseen, assistance unknown, and result not guaranteed.  For some in New England, this may be a better deal.

Thomaston is 1250 miles away @ $2 a loaded mile.  $2600.

Hans1965

Of course it is a project, but these are really rare beasts. BJM, you should have bought the local one for 1700. 😁
No idea what it's worth, just not easy to judge with just a few bad pics. Rust defines its value I would say. Mechanics are not too difficult on these cars, but if it needs welding everywhere, then I would drop out.

Hi William -

Please at least let us know the colors, interior.  It appears Black with dark to medium grey roof, so is the interior grey and grey leather.  Codes from the tag would be great.

I’m 2 hours away from the car but here are some more pics, I’m sorry but the setting wasn’t ideal for pictures.

Only two interior options in 49 CDV's unless SO.  Blue plain broadcloth and gray leather/leatherette (code 68) or tan broadcloth and beige leather/leatherette (code 69).  Blue carpet or tan carpet.  So this one is code 68 on upholstery.   Looks like paint code 13 which are two shades of gray metallic.  The famous rear fender spear is rusted right through so likely much rust damage on car.  On the positive side it looks like the next owner will be the first to disassemble, if he wants to restore it.  2000 built.

Any more info available about this car? Interior does not look too bad. For the next pictures please open the garage door and let some light in....  ;D
Original drive train? Engine frozen or not? But rust is the decisive factor here for me. It does not look impossible to bring it back to life.

I’ll take some more detailed pic’s when I go back up there. I will also get more info, or at least as much as I can.
Thanks for the interest.

Thanks Brad.  Best I can tell, this is a black or dark blue body with grey (dark or medium) top and grey broadcloth and leather/leatherette interior.

Car is in Thomaston, Maine. In the garage.

If we're taking Route 1 for a scenic route through Maine, we usually stop at the Applebees there for lunch or dinner.  Been there many times.

Those rear fender spears are expensive if found used in good condition or purchased new from a guy who is now reproducing them.  I forget the prices I've recently seen, but in the past up they were up to $1,000 each from some vendors.
