This month, August, the NTXCLC members visited a peach orchard, a foam rubber manufacturer, and a museum honoring some heroes of WW!! â€" the Tuskegee Airmen.  It has been fun and informative.  We plan more activities like this in the future, so keep those Caddys shined and ready to go.

We also won a Web Site of Merit Award from our National club during the Grand National at Boston.  Good work, Minnie.

September we do a charity car show downtown Ft. Worth, Texas.  Come on down and visit us at 6th and Main.  Also see the other fine show and go cars that fill the downtown streets.  This is called Crusin’ For the Cure â€" the cure sought is the reduction of prostrate cancer.

Please don’t forget to send in your regional meet registration (Registration page 2) as quick as you can.  We need to be able to anticipate your attendance so we will have enough food and awards on hand.  Yes, you can just show up and attend, but this would add a burden that affect all in attendance.  So send that reservation form in now. Registration Page 1 is your record and information.

We have added a new event to the calendar for November. On the 10th we are going to visit the George W. Bush Presidential Library Museum.  This should be a terrific tour.

By the way, it seems we either missed them or there were none â€" new members.  Need to get busy recruiting.

Happy Labor Day, and Happy Trails.  Enjoy our newsletter.   :)
