1976 Eldoardo aftermarket parade boots any good?

So I was just on ebay looking for some manuals and a oem parade boot popped and I about hit the floor, seller was asking $3600 including shipping where the aftermarket ones are $600I know prices have went up but daaaang!

I have never seen any aftermarket ones, only the Factory ones, and Hydroelectric has the clips for them.

They are Fibre Glass.

The last pair I purchased were about US$350.00. and used ones are always coming up on eBay.   Don't forget that they are the same part for '71 to'75 Chevrolet, Pontiac, Buick and Oldsmobile Convertibles, so there are lots of them coming up.

The aftermarket ones are about $600 new.  That seller has a lot of parts but I felt is way off the mark, but he can ASK whatever he wants.  I am glad my new old car came with the original ones.

Since the pandemic everything on the shelves over here the packages of products keeps geting smaller and smaller but that's another store.

Exactly!  That's the I don't want to sell price.

To each their own, I messaged the seller and he thinks he has a $3600 parade boot LOL

I think he has big fingers/little key syndrome going on. The $ sign is right next to the 3 and his pinkie hit the shift key at the same time.
