Cool story.
Richard Lentinello is a big Cadillac fan and is writing a new book on Cadillacs and their owners.
He was at my house a couple of years ago and photographed two of my cars for his book.  I hope it comes out soon.

I cannot count the times I've heard similar stories recounted of Cadillacs being modified and abused to death.

Sadly, the fate of many a once-proud Cadillac (as well as other great cars) was usually sealed upon ownership by a young person.

All the same, I enjoyed the story.

Great story. I think we all have some like that. I know I do. Sadly, it was never Cadillacs I could afford and they were much more scarce here in the 60s.

Good story.  I remember teenage friend's and I making our cars backfire under bridges the same way.

Richard contacted me on Facebook.  His book is due out by the end of this year.

I am sure it will be a quality publication.
