If anybody is interested, Dayco Belt #28345, which I have been running as a fan belt on my 1940 LaSalle, is still available on Rock Auto's website for about $10.00.

It works very well as a replacement, but does not have the authentic look of the Gates belt, which I understand has been discontinued.
